Celebrating Another Successful School Year

The 2021-2022 school year ended on July 16th with a grand graduation ceremony.

The day began with a parade of leaders from the Institute of Goma to Un Jour Nouveau School, where the stage was set for the ceremony. Several highlights included the national anthem, prayer, a word of welcome by Camille NTOTO, recitations, poems, computer demonstrations, making of hydroalcoholic gel, dances, presentations by students, and the testimony of a parent.

Taking advantage of the occasion, the school management announced to those in attendance the launch of the secondary school (High School) for the 2022-2023 school year with the sections: Science, Social, Construction, Commercial, and Management. It has been the vision of our founders, Camille & Esther Ntoto, that education is provided from Pre-K through High School. We believe that quality education is foundational to the betterment of individual lives as well as the community. The High School will commence this fall in a temporary location while funds are raised to build the permanent home on land the school already owns.

Ms. Sophie HARCQ was introduced as the head of the secondary school(High School), and the principal Mr. Frederic NDOLOMO TACILE.

The ceremony ended with the students from Kindergarten to 8th grade receiving their results for the year.

Because UJN School is a school that advocates excellence and encourages hard work, a scholarship for next year was awarded to two leaders who stood out from the rest of the students because of their exceptional grades. They are 7th grader AHADI MAKONOGO, who finished the year with 90%, and 2nd grader DEKE KAMWELE, who finished the year with 94%.

The fame of your goodness spreads across the country; your righteousness is on everyone’s lips. God is all mercy and grace—not quick to anger, is rich in love. God is good to one and all; everything he does is soaked through with grace.
