Flooded!

When it rains, it pours!

The road to our school is a challenging route due to its foundation of lava rock and dirt. To make matters worse, the small bridge at the top of the road that covers a drainage ditch has been broken for over 3 months making it not passable for most vehicles including our buses.

Now with the latest deluge, the rainwater had nowhere to go except down the street and into our school. Thanks to our staff and volunteers who jumped into action to get this cleaned up and our students back in the classroom.

The next challenge is to get the local authorities to fix the bridge and properly pave this important raod.
